When Wataru awakes, he finds that the Japan he once knew is long gone. Now followed by an otherworldly creature and equipped with a mysterious transplanted eye, Wataru embarks on his very own road movie... Kurayami Dance is a manga based on the original draft for Shadows of the Damned, which was a loose adaptation of Kafka’s The Castle.
